PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT No changes except addition of "webinars" in the first sub-text bullet. D. COURSES Student Credit No changes Added line under heading - Credit for Attending Courses E. Meeting Meetings must be technically or professionally based (example: plant tours). Meetings of a social nature do not earn credit. The maximum number of RUs that may be earned for a single meeting is 0.3. Clinics and workshops must be held directly before or after the meetings. The maximum number of RUs that may be earned for a clinic or workshop in conjunction with a section meeting is 0.3. Combined with the maximum 0.3 RU earned for a meeting, the total maximum number of RUs that may be earned from a meeting and associated clinics or workshops on a single date is 0.6. F. Committees

CATEGORY MAXIMUM remains the same Please be advised that all sections will no longer be required or asked to process individual certification retirement request forms. This will now be done directly at national. The certification application form has been revised and updated to instruct the applicant to send their application and payment directly to national to the attention of the recertification coordinator. If you are a ASQ Certified professional who has retired, you may request a retired designation on your wallet card. Click on the ASQ website and click on certification. Scroll down to retirement form and click on this option to get a retirement application. You need Adobe Reader to see and print the form.
